Gateway Fun Park
We took Emily and "Maddie Moo" to Gateway Fun Park last night. Emmy had lots of fun running from game to game. Luckily she’s not old enough to know that the game really isn’t working if you don’t put any money in it. So we got off pretty cheap. She really liked to sit with Tom and Jerry in this car.
See...she really is my dancing monkey

Fun at the park
I got this great picture of Emily at the park yesterday. She is climbing through a red tunnel. I love the way it makes everything red.
I Wear My Sunglasses At Night
Hey…when you’re cool the sun always shines. Emily found her Daddy’s sunglasses and just had to wear them the other night.
One little monkey
One little monkey jumping on the bed....one fell down and bumped her....knee. I guess we really shouldn't encourage her to jump up and down on her bed. Oh well, you live and learn.

Pumpkin Patch
We went to the pumpkin patch with my MOPs group last weekend and we had a blast. There was so much there for us to do. Let’s see….we went down a big slide, went through a corn maze, looked at lots of animals, drove cars in the play area, roasted hotdogs, went on a hayride and played with LOTS of pumpkins.
Just let me tell you that Emily loves pumpkins. Every time we see one she yells "punkin." So she is having a field day because they are everywhere this time of year. All the kids got to take a small pie pumpkin home with them and Emily plays with it every day. She even pushes it around in her baby doll stroller. We are going to have to take another trip out there because we had so much fun.
She liked the gourds too.
We spent alot of time with these. She is getting ready to kiss this one.
She liked to put them all in a row.
Emily and her friend Campbell in the corn maze. (Emily is one day older than Campbell.)
Getting ready to go down the slide.Daddy watching our brave girl.
She went down a lot faster if we put straw on the slide.
Emily’s first hayride. She didn’t quite know what to think of it at first but she ended up having a really good time.

Sleeping Beauty
Can you believe that these are the first pictures I have of her sleeping in her crib? I think I was always too worried about waking her up with the flash. This day I was actually trying to wake her up and she slept through it.
I know her crib looks pretty full of her "friends" but the picture only shows about half of what’s in there. I’ve tried to take some of them out but she knows when something is missing and she won’t sleep until they are all with her.

Emmy & Grandma J singing
Whoo hoo, thanks to my mom we have a new camera. She came over last night to give it to us. She also bought herself one just like it so we were playing around with them to see all the features it has. One of the cool things you can do shoot short videos. So I taped Grandma and Emmy singing. At the end of the video Emily saw me with the camera, stopped singing and said "cheese". She is such a ham. Anyway I hope you can view the video because I think it’s really cute.

The Rickard's 60th Wedding Anniversay Party
Note: Sorry if some of these pictures are fuzzy. This is the night we dropped our camera. It worked for a little while before it died on us.
Here are pictures from Rob’s grandparent’s 60th wedding anniversary party. We had lots of fun surprising them with this party.
Glenn and Vonda Rickard (Grandmother & Grandpa) are wonderful role models for us. They love the Lord and each other very much and it really shows in how they treat each other and everyone else around them. We are truly blessed to have them in our lives.
