6 Flags

We went to 6 Flags a couple of weeks ago with Julie, Katy and Kevin. We had fun but lets just say that it was a good thing that we got in for free. Emily had no desire to ride anything. She had the most fun playing on the playground and playing in puddles of water on the ground. Lets see...we did ride on a few things...the antique cars (she clung to me the whole time), the Log Flume (she didn't like it at first but when it was over I asked her if she liked it and she said yes) and the carousel (she wouldn't ride on a horse, we had to sit in a carriage). Yep...we drove all the way over to 6 Flags for her to ride on three rides. She wouldn't even go on any of the kiddie rides with Katy and Kevin. Hopefully she'll get over this by the time we go to Disney World in December. She did however like the characters. Tweety Bird was her favorite.

Emily wouldn't let the water spray on her but she loved splashing in the puddles.

Kevin loved the water...he didn't have one dry spot on him.

Wearing Grandma J's glasses

Emily loves wearing Grandma J's glasses. She thinks that it is the funniest thing ever. I have to admit...she did look pretty darn cute.

Straw hats

These hats were going to be decorations on Grandma Glenna's front porch but Emily just wanted to play with them instead. She really liked putting them on Clayton and Madison too.

Flowers at church

After church Emily loves to run in the grass and stop to smell the flowers. I always have to remind her not to pick them. However, this day I wasn't paying attention because I was taking pictures so in the second one you can see that she is holding a white flower.

Camp Courage

Here is a picture of Emily and Taylor. Taylor's mom, Kristin, is also a counselor at Camp Courage. This was taken during the awards program on the last night of camp. I have posted all of my camp pictures on my other blog.
