Pumpkin Patch

We took a trip to the pumpkin patch last Sunday after church. Emmy loved it but she really didn't want her picture taken. When she saw the camera she said "don't take my picture" I thought she might be playing with me but she wasn't. I tricked her a couple of times by telling her to look at me but right after I would take the picture I would get a really dirty look and she would tell me, "I TOLD YOU NOT TO TAKE MY PICTURE". Then she would pout for a little bit. I guess she was just having one of those days.

I love how she squats to look at the animals.

Yummy cake

We went out to eat for Uncle Cody's birthday last week and as you can tell Emmy loved her chocolate cake. It's kind of hard to tell in these pictures but it looked like she had a mustache.

Big Girl Bed

So far so good. Emily has been in her big girl bed for a full week now and she hasn't gotten out of bed at all, even during her nap. I am so proud of her!! She has really shocked me this week. She really didn't like the bed the first few nights, as she said she wanted it "big" a.k.a the front rail on the bed. Anyway, she got over it and she loves her new Princess sheets and pillow.

I took these pictures the first day she had her new sheets. I'm going to have to take another picture to show you all the stuff she sleeps with. She just barely has room to lay down but she won't let me take anything out. I'm just going to go with it right now...if it's not broke, don't fix it.

Here she is pretending to sleep in her new bed. I love the one where she has her eyes closed but has a huge smile on her face. :)

I'm not sleepy.....

Last week our church had a potluck in the park after the morning service. Emmy had lots of fun eating and of course swinging. We didn't leave until close to 4:00. So my plan was to put her to bed early and skip her nap that day. She was all for that...she kept saying..."I'm not sleepy...I not take a nap." However, her poor little body just didn't agree with her and she fell asleep watching her new favorite movie Peter Pan. This is very unusual for her...she usually only sleeps in her bed so of course I had to get some pictures of her.

Being silly at Grandma's House

I tried to get a picture of Emily when she was sitting in Grandma's lift chair but she wanted no part of that. I did however get this cute one right after she jumped down.

Yummy popsicle

Sorry it's been so long since I have posted anything. My mom usually gets me on the ball when I haven't posted anything so I didn't realize it's been almost a month since I last posted. Anyway....as you can see my girl had a very messy popsicle and she loved every little bit of it. ;)
